Coastal Church isn’t just a building or a Sunday gathering—it’s a growing, Spirit-led family that’s passionate about Jesus and people. We’ve seen firsthand what happens when God takes ordinary lives and does something extraordinary. Many of us came here broken, searching, or unsure of what we believed. But through community, worship, and the Word, we encountered a Savior who brings renewal, purpose, and unshakable hope.
We’ve watched families be restored. We’ve seen addictions broken. We’ve felt the power of grace in moments we didn’t even know we needed it. And now, we live to make space for others to experience the same.
At Coastal, you’ll find a place where it’s okay to not have it all together. You’ll meet people just like you—people learning, growing, and leaning into who God has created them to be. Our mission is simple: to help you know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and so the Gulf Coast will be saved!.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the basis for all we believe and is our manual for living. We practice daily Bible reading and study. When faces with a decision, the first question is, “What does the Bible say?” | 2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Thessalonian 2:13
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity, that He lived a sinless life, and that He voluntarily gave His life for us and rose from the dead. People receive salvation from Jesus alone; He baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit and will return again. | John 14:6, Acts 4:11-12
We recognize that we are sinners and have fallen short of God’s plan for us. We have asked God for forgiveness and are seeking His direction for our lives. | 2 Corinthians 5:17, Matthew 16:25
We believe that the only way possible to live the Christian life is by God’s power within us. We can be filled with the Holy Spirit simply by asking God’s spirit can enable us to do what is right. | Luke 11:13, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 5:18

OUR
PASTOR
Chad Stafford. Lead Pastor
In 2009, Pastor Chad and Jennifer returned home to Daphne after serving in full-time ministry for over 20 years. Pastor Chad grew up in Daphne and has been deeply involved in the community, serving as a youth pastor and coach at Daphne High School and Bayside Academy. He and Jennifer have also served as pastors in Colorado, Georgia, and Arkansas before launching Coastal Church in 2010. They feel called by God to spend the rest of their lives in Daphne and to raise their son, Evan, here.
As Bon Jovi once asked, "Who says you can't go home?" For Chad and Jennifer, the answer is clear, when you’ve been all around the world, there is only one place left you want to go. HOME.
